Over the last few years our girls’ pathway has gone from strength to strength.

Football for every girl

We are focused on community football as much as elite football –  we want every girl to have a place at the mighty Warriors.

If your child does not get a JPL/Metro spot in 2024 we want them to make our community sides stronger and work for a JPL/Metro spot throughout the season and into 2025.

Squads and players

We will endeavour to accommodate all players’ requirements; our age groups will be treated as one full squad in 2024. We are looking to reward players that excel in the Geelong competition with games in the JPL/Metro competitions (pending compliance with FV regulations).

Players’ attitude, coachability and ability to connect with their teammates will also determine where they fit on the Warriors’ pathway.

Our club is not just focused on football but a safe and comfortable environment for all players, parents and coaches. Read more about our policies and procedures and our how we’ll ensure the club is safe for everyone.

At NGWFC will not tolerate any disrespectful behaviour towards any players, parents, coaches, staff or anyone, whether it be in person or online and anyone found in breach of rules will be asked to leave immediately.

Football department

Our 2024 Womens and Girls Football Department includes some of the biggest names that have donned the red white and blue as players. Now in either administration or coaching, their knowledge and experience will be the key to the Warriors’ success in the years to come. People such as Mijo Trupkovic, Ante Deak, Luisa Kump (current senior player), Michael Anderson, Ante Stosic, Frank Simovic and Ivan Simic are amongst the names we believe will steer the North girls towards a great future on and off the park!

Junior football presentations

North Geelong Warriors FC is well-known for producing quality junior players. We are fortunate to have the capacity to facilitate NPL, metro and local community teams so that many young people can play football, no matter what level that want.

At the end of the season, teams came together to celebrate milestones big and small. From first games and goals to selection in representative squads, the North family celebrates them all.

Congratulations to all of our junior players for representing NGWFC with passion and pride, and well done to the players whose hard work and skill were rewarded with individual recognition.
