The deepest and most heartfelt condolences of North Geelong Warriors FC go out to the family and friends of Ante Deak, who sadly passed away.
Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, Ante suffered a stroke while our seniors were playing against Green Gully. His first question after being rushed to hospital was: “How did North go?”
Ante Deak gave 50 years of service to the club. He was a founding member and a part of the first ever squad as a player, in 1968. Since the clubs foundation, Ante served the club as a member, secretary, committee member, bar worker, groundsman and supporter.
