North Geelong Warriors Football Club (NGWFC) are looking for a new Technical Director (TD) for 2025.
The Football TD will help NGWFC develop a Sustainable model and Support the development of North Geelong Warriors’s ONE CLUB model.
NGWFC is a dynamic and community focussed football club dedicated to fostering talent, creating pathways and promoting players from juniors into our High Performance Program Teams in Under 23s and Seniors.
We are looking for a passionate TD to connect, support and work alongside the Football Operations Team. As a Team we will create a sustainable system that provides coaches with support whilst developing the future of talented football players across all levels of the club.
Responsibilities
- Assist each football department (JBNPL, Metro) in the following ways
- The appointment of all coaches.
- Club trials
Development and implementation of coaching standards, roles and responsibilities, professional support and development pathways to coaching and playing groups.
Support the Clubs football operations, coaches, and managers to develop and implement a football development plan and playing model for all age groups and abilities.
In conjunction with each football operations teams and coaches, support the selection and movement of respective teams or squads.
Support coaches with Pre-season coaching workshops to engage coaching teams and outline strategic framework / Club requirements.
Provide independent mediation on dispute resolution / mediation function – interface for parent feedback, monitoring ‘health’ issues and grievance handling process.
Establish and maintain strong professional relationships and communication with all coaches, the committees, Board, and various stakeholders, including other Clubs (both association Clubs, Elite and State Clubs), associations, schools, FV and FA.
Establish a communication strategy with our coaches to provide advice and support on coaching matters. Provide coaches with assessments covering training and game day activities
The applicants must have excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills and a knowledge of football.
