About us

North Geelong Croatia Soccer Club (now the North Geelong Warriors) was formed in 1967 by Croatian migrants.

The club’s senior men currently compete in the National Premier Leagues Victoria, The third tier of Australian football.  Our senior women play in Victoria State League 1.

We have over 400 registered players and coaches (2023) across NPL, State League, Melbourne metropolitan and Geelong community competitions.

Playing and training venues

We play most games at our privately owned home ground at Elcho Park (15 Gibbons road) in the northern Geelong suburb of Lara.

Training grounds:

  • Hume Reserve pitch 3 (Bell Park)
  • Harold Hurst reserve (Herne Hill)
  • Leisuretime Centre (Norlane)
